LIMA, Ohio (AP) -- A 14-year-old boy in Ohio who admitted raping a 90-year-old woman will spend at least six years in a youth prison.
A judge in the northwest Ohio town of Lima says the crime almost left him speechless while sentencing the boy on Tuesday. Prosecutors say the boy was 13 in August 2011 when he forced his way into the woman's home, demanded money and then raped her.
The boy entered what amounted to a guilty plea last month.
The boy's attorney said he has not had a good home life. Prosecutors say the boy has been in trouble since he was 10.
The Lima News (http://bit.ly/Slnqtj ) reports the judge will be able to add time to the sentence if the boy gets in trouble behind bars.
