FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A beating victim was found lying in the street with his hands and feet bound at around 4:15 a.m. on Sunday.

Police said they found the man lying in the street, covered in blood and blindfolded, near the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Loree Street.

A neighbor told police she heard the man screaming in pain, found him on the street, and then called police.

The victim told police he was beaten by three black males, who were armed with bats and guns, behind a house on the 900-block of Columbia Avenue.

A witness told police she saw two black males speeding away from the scene in a black SUV.

Police said the front door of the home on Columbia Avenue was ajar when they entered. Police found blood and a human tooth on the kitchen floor inside the home.

Police said the victim was in serious condition and had numerous bruises, lacerations, and open wounds all over his body.
