FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at the Chase Bank at 2601 Lower Huntington Road.
The robbery happened at around 11:20 a.m.
Witnesses told police that a man walked into the bank and showed the teller a note. The note demanded money and threatened harm.
The suspect then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money and headed east.
Police said K-9 Units tracked the suspect across Bluffton Road and through a nearby car wash lot. Police believe that the suspect may have gotten into a waiting get-away vehicle.

Police said bank customers were inside the bank during the robbery but nobody was hurt. This is the 14th bank robbery in Fort Wayne this year and the second one at this corner in two months.
On October 26, police said two men robbed the Chase drive-up building in the parking lot adjacent to the Chase branch where Thursday's robbery happened. In the October robbery, police said two men with guns forced employees inside as they arrived for work in the morning. One employee was hit in the head with a gun.
