ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) The Allen County Sheriff's Department is looking for a German Shepherd to join the ranks of their K-9 unit.
The Sheriff's Department is looking for a dog between the ages of one and three and half years old. The dog will need to pass a physical and have a good temperament.
All dogs will be screened by Master K-9 trainer Robert Compton and a veterinarian.
Anyone interested in donating a dog that meets the requirements is asked to contact Master Trainer Robert Compton with Allen County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Division at (260) 449-4597.
