FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - No criminal charges will be filed against Matt Lindsay, the former Bishop Luers football coach , the Allen County Prosecutor's office announced Monday afternoon.
Police said no illegal images were found on Lindsay's work computer. According to the press release, "Matthew Lindsay's personal computer could not be located."
Police said no nude images were found on Lindsay's computer. There were also no images found that seemed to be taken in private.
Lindsay was fired from Bishop Luers on September 16 after the Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend found out about a large number of inappropriate video clips, none with nudity, on his computer.
There were also allegations that Lindsay had been taking pictures or videos at a Fort Wayne pool. A police report was filed by a Fort Wayne police officer on August 7, 2011.
T he Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend issued a statement on the closure of Matt Lindsay's case on Monday. The diocese thanked the "Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, as well as the Allen County Police Department for their professional and diligent handling of this matter."
