Accused kitten torturer court date set for Jan. 5

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Matthew Jerome's court date has been set for Tuesday, January 15 at 9 a.m.
Jerome, 22, is accused of torturing his girlfriend's kitten named Sparkle.
Jerome faces two felony charges for cruelty, and a misdemeanor for neglect.
The trial will last for two days.
