Police investigating meth lab on West Jefferson

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) Police are investigating a meth lab at an apartment on the 900-block of West Jefferson Blvd.
According to Fort Wayne Police Department Public Information Officer Raquel Foster, police issued a search warrant on the suspected meth lab on Thursday morning.
David J. Heineman was in the apartment during the execution of the warrant and was arrested.
Heineman faces the following charges:
- Manufacturing methamphetamine within 1000' of a school
- Possession of methamphetamine precursors with intent to sell
- Possession of 2 or more methamphetamine precursors
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Maintaining a common nuisance
- Possession of paraphernalia
