WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) - Police arrested a Warsaw man Wednesday on a warrant after an employee at a local store spotted him buying items related to making meth.

According to police, Jason Finch, 39, of Warsaw, went into a store and purchased Lithium batteries on October 5. He returned a short time later to buy Coleman fuel.

The store takes part in the Meth Watch program where employees are trained to spot purchases that may be used to make meth.

After police were tipped off, they obtained a warrant for Finch's arrest.

On October 31, police received a tip that Finch was at 106 Boydston St. in Warsaw. Police served the warrant and located Finch inside the house.

Police said they found several active meth labs inside the home.

Police arrested Finch on the initial warrant and also with dealing in Methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, a class A felony.

Police said the Boydston address is close to both Washington Elementary School and Warsaw Christian School.
