WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) A 74 year-old man and a 33 year old woman were arrested on Friday for selling their prescription medications to undercover officers.
The Warsaw Police Department arrested the two as part of a drug investigation. According to police, they received information that Edward Conley, 74, and Holly Neher, 33, both of Warsaw were selling pills, including their personal medications.
Neher and Conley sold the prescription medication Oxycontin to undercover officers in the 500 block of East Market Street in Warsaw on Friday. The drug sale took place within a thousand feet of a city park. They were immediately arrested.
They were taken to the Kosciusko County Jail and charged with dealing in and possession of controlled substances, class A felonies. The charges were enhanced because of the proximity to a city park.
An 11 year old juvenile was in the car at the time of the incident and was released to relatives.
The Warsaw Police Department was assisted by the Kosciusko County Drug Task Force and the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s office.
