WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) - Police arrested three people at a Super 8 Motel after they failed to pay for their taxi ride on Wednesday.

Police arrived at the hotel room and found a large container of salt, coffee filters, and bottles of drain cleaner, which are items commonly used in the manufacture of Methamphetamine.

Police said they searched the room and found Coleman fuel and cut open cold packs, also used in the meth manufacturing process.

Police arrested Billy Fairchild, 27, of Pierecton, Erika Nichols, 27, of Warsaw, and Jennifer Stanley, 40, of Warsaw, due to the theft of services for the taxi ride and the possession of meth precursors.

During the search of Fairchild, police found a clear plastic baggy filled with meth.

Warsaw police also found an active "one-pot" meth lab in the motel dumpster after receiving additional information during the interviews.

Fairchild, Nichols, and Stanley were charged with dealing in Methamphetamine, a class B felony, along with possession of meth precursors and theft. Fairchild was also charged with possession of Methamphetamine.
