FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) Fort Wayne police are investigating after the discovery of ten so-called “one-pot” methamphetamine labs along a city walking trail.

A man biking Tuesday afternoon along the Towpath Trail found the ten one-liter plastic bottles and noticed they were taut with pressure and sealed with electrical tape.

He alerted police after realizing the bottles were the portable “one-pot” meth labs, many meth users have begun using.

The Journal Gazette reported (http://bit.ly/wVs156 ) police confirmed that the bottles contained leftovers from meth production.

Fort Wayne police spokeswoman Officer Raquel Foster said officers cleaned up the potentially hazardous waste and hauled it away.

She said it’s not uncommon for bottles of meth waste to be found along the trail as well as in alleys and trash bins.
