COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) - Police in Columbia City are looking for a man they say robbed the Walgreens store on Line Street just before 3:30 Wednesday afternoon.
He gave the pharmacist a note and demand painkillers. He was given three bottles of Opana and 1 box of Fentanyl patches.
Police describe the suspect as man about 5’9” with a reddish-colored beard and silver earring.
Investigators said they have contacted detectives in Fort Wayne because similar robberies have happened in Fort Wayne stores recently and they want to find out if they're connected.
