FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Several men carrying signs representing the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local Union 166 are picketing at the Shambaugh & Son headquarters on Opportunity Drive in Fort Wayne Friday.
A Local 166 representative told NewsChannel 15 that a contract concerning the workers expired on June 1. She also said that union leaders are currently in negotiation meetings. Details about the contract were not released by the union.
A message was left with Shambaugh & Son requesting a comment on the situation. That message has yet to be returned. This story will be updated once more information about the demonstration becomes available.
