KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) A Kendallville company is expanding again after an expansion in 2012 and adding more jobs.
The General Manager Stephen Geist announced that Creative Liquid Coatings would be adding 12 jobs and investing $1.4 million in new equipment for its two East Industrial Park facilities.
The investment is related to tax abatement requests. The Redevelopment Commission has recommended 10 years of decreasing abatement for equipment at two of its locations. According to the abatement application, the abatement not only add 12 jobs, they ensure that 220 will remain at the two locations.
Among the new equipment will be new injection molding and auxiliary equipment at the Creative Liquid Coatings’ plant at 221 S. Progress Drive.
Process cooling equipment, and advanced information technology and hardware will be purchased for the facility at 2620 Marion Drive.
The new equipment is expected to be installed by April 2013.
