INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WANE) Governor Mitch Daniels and executives from nine companies announced plans to create 2,552 jobs in Indiana by 2018.
Among the companies is Brunswick Fort Wayne Operations, which plans on moving operations to a larger facility by 2014 and adding up to 200 jobs by 2016.
The following is the complete list of companies and the number of jobs they each plan to add:
Angie's List , a national provider of consumer reviews on local service companies, plans to use a $1 million dollar investment in Indiana to add as many as 850 new jobs by 2017. The company currently has over 1,000 employees in its headquarters in Indianapolis.
Atwood Mobile Products , an Elkhart-based company that manufactures a lightweight durable recreational vehicle components, will spend $5.9 million to consolidate its current operations to Elkhart County which wil create up to 132 new jobs by 2015. There are currently 368 Atwood employees at the four Elkhart County sites.
BidPal, Inc. , a handheld bidding device company that helps nonprofits with fundraising, will invest $3.5 million to expand its Indianapolis headquarters which will create up to 172 new jobs by 2017. BidPal will also invest in new technology and equipment.
Brunswick Fort Wayne Operations, which produces Harris FloteBote and Cypress Cay pontoon boats, will expand its operations adding as many as 200 new jobs by 2016. The company has outgrown its current space and plans to move into a larger facility by 2014.
Café Valley, Inc. is an Phoenix, Ariz.-based company that provides producer of baked goods to restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores across the U.S and 50 countries. Café Valley, Inc. plans to build a facility in Marion by 2014 and add up to 400 new jobs by 2018.
ExactTarget will be spending $55 million on equipment and real estate to expand Indianapolis operations. The company plans on creating up to 500 new jobs by 2018.
Inventure Foods , which markets and makes specialty foods, plans to expand its Bluffton operations and create up to 80 new jobs by 2015. The company's products range from Jamba smoothies to Boulder Kettle chips to T.G.I. Friday's potato skins and onion rings.
Mitsubishi Engine North America (MENA) will be investing $10.8 million as it starts manufacturing turbochargers for automobiles in the U.S. The plant will be located on a Mitsubishi campus in Franklin. Up to 73 new jobs will be created by 2016.
Moorehead Communications, Inc. , a Verizon Wireless retailer, plans to expand its Indiana operations and add up to 145 new jobs by 2016.
