Kroger opens first Scott's fuel center

The Scott's food store on West State Boulevard in Fort Wayne now has a fuel center. Kroger plans to open 10 fuel centers at grocery stores in the greater Fort Wayne area over the next three years.
It's the first Kroger fuel center to have the Scott's name. The Scott's fuel center is also the first one in Kroger's Central Division to have handicap service call buttons at every pump.
The addition of fuel centers at Kroger and Scott's grocery stores is part of a company strategy to provide as many products and services as possible. Kroger also rewards customers who use a loyalty card with a 10 cent a gallon discount.
