FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) An auto parts maker plans to expand its Fort Wayne headquarters which will mean the creation of 30 new jobs by 2015.

VOSS Automotive, Inc., supplies line and connection technology for passenger cars along with commercial and off-road vehicles.

The company will build a new 35,000 square-foot facility on 9.5 acres at the 4700 block of Hillegas Road in Fort Wayne. The facility will house office space and a fully-equipped design validated lab and prototype shop. Construction of the new facility is slated to begin by the end of the year.

"From Fort Wayne to Evansville, established, global companies recognize the value of doing business in the Hoosier State," said Dan Hasler, Secretary of Commerce and chief executive officer of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. "VOSS' growth and commitment to Indiana bring new jobs for Hoosiers and reinforce northeast Indiana's economic strength."

VOSS, which recently added 19 new positions in Fort Wayne, will continue to fill high-wage jobs across the company as part of the project.
