WARSAW, Ind. (WANE) - The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department and coroner’s office are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that happened at a mobile home park south of Warsaw.

Deputies got a call from a concerned neighbor asking them to check on two people at a mobile home located on South Country Club Road.

Officers arrived at the home around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday and found Willis Kinzer, 47, and his wife, Jane Ellen Kinzer, 46, dead from apparent gunshot wounds.

Kosciusko County Coroner John Sadler said preliminary evidence at the scene shows the deaths were a result of a murder-suicide.

Officials also found a lengthy suicide note left by the married couple at the scene.

Sadler said the deaths are still under investigation. Autopsies for both will be done either Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday morning in Fort Wayne.
