Man dies after shot in car on Reed St.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - A Fort Wayne man died Sunday night after he was shot in the 5200-block of Reed Street.
Allen County Coroner Jon Brandenberger identified the man as 32-year-old, Michael Andrew Green of Fort Wayne.
Police said the 32-year-old was in a blue Bonneville going south on Reed when gunfire started. The man jumped out of the car while it was still moving and ran to a near-by house. The car continued south on Reed until it crashed into a parked vehicle at Roosevelt and Reed Streets.
When police arrived, the man was in critical condition. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Brandenberger confirmed Monday Green died as a result of the gunshot wounds.
Green's death is Allen County and Fort Wayne's fourth homicide for 2010.
