HOWE, Ind. (WANE) - A rural Howe man is facing numerous drug charges after police chased him down in LaGrange Co.

Around 3:30 p.m. Monday, members of the Indiana State Police and LaGrange Co. Sheriff's Dept. went to a home at 6900 N. C.R. 310 E. in rural Howe.

Police say as they arrived, 48-year-old Joseph Trushel ran out the back door.  Officers chased Trushel and eventually caught and detained him near the intersection of C.R. 400 E. and C.R. 700 N.

Officers say they checked the path Trushel ran and found meth making supplies and two one-pot meth labs.

Trushel was taken to the LaGrange Co. jail.

He faces three felony charges related to drug possession and making meth.
