FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The United Way of Allen County and Organized Labor is hosting the 20th Annual Community Health Fair on Friday, October 5.
The health fair will be held at Turnstone from 8 a.m. to noon. It is sponsored by United Way and Parkview Home Health & Hospice.
There will be free blood pressure, glucose, and colorectal cancer screenings.
Blood chemistry tests are also available for $17. This tests liver function, kidney function, cholesterol levels, high density lipoproteins, low density lipoproteins, triglycerides and more. Participants are required to fast 12 hours before the blood test.
Parkview Home Health & Hospice will be giving flu shots for $25 and Pneumonia vaccines for $35. If you are covered by Medicare Part B, you will not need to pay for these two injections and all insurance cards will be accepted.
