STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s annual Patriotic Pops Concert is set to take place at Pokagon State Park on June 27, and according to the Department of Natural Resources, it will be the perfect opportunity for music lovers who also enjoy the outdoors.
The concert starts at 7 p.m. at the park’s Potawatomi Inn beach lawn. In case of inclement weather, it will be held at the Angola High School Gym.
Visitors are encouraged to come early and bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Seating is limited. A free shuttle will run all evening between the Inn and various parking lots throughout the park. Limited parking for people with special needs is available near the Inn.
The concert is free, but the standard entrance fee of $5 per in-state vehicle and $7 per out-of-state vehicle applies. Visitors with annual entrance passes can also use those.
