Scotty's Brewhouse, a small chain of Indiana restaurants that first opened in Muncie in 1996, is considering opening a concept restaurant in Fort Wayne.
Scott Wise, the founder of Scotty's Brewhouse, told NewsChannel 15 that he is looking at the area near Getz and West Jefferson in Fort Wayne. Time Corners and Covington Plaza are located in that area. He believes he'll get a deal done and be open in around eight months.
Scotty's had originally signed on to open in The Harrison residential development next to Parkview Field, but that deal fell through after multiple delays in funding for the project.
Scotty's Brewhouse currently has locations in Muncie, Bloomington, Indianapolis and West Lafayette. There is also a Scotty's Burger Joint in Columbus.
