Chipotle Big Game Specials
You've gotta love Chipotle Mexican Grill's irreverent style. Instead of spending millions on a Super Bowl commercial, the Mexican restaurant chain is offering burritos for half price on Sunday as part of its “Super Big Internationally Televised Professional Football Bowl Game Half Price Party in a Box.”
Yeah, it's a mouthful, but Chipotle is “end-running the advertising hoopla that has become such a big part of pro football's biggest game,” according to a news release. It will use social media, its website and in-store posters to allude to the big game without naming it.
The deal is, order six or more burritos on Sunday, and you'll get them half-price. Log on to www.Chipotle.com and download a Burritos by the Box order form from the nearest Chipotle location. The order form allows customers to identify how many chicken, steak, carnitas, barbacoa or vegetarian burritos they would like to order. The burritos come packed in a box with handles for easy transportation, along with sides of sour cream, chips, medium tomatillo-green chili salsa and freshly made guacamole.
The offer is only available Sunday on orders of six or more burritos. For orders of 50 or more burritos, allow 24-hours' notice to pick up. The maximum order is 100 burritos.
In Fort Wayne, Chipotle is at 4210 W. Jefferson Blvd. in Jefferson Pointe and at 910 Coliseum Blvd. E.
