Pembroke Bakery & Café has announced it will hold its grand opening on Saturday, October 29.
Located at 300 East Main Street, in the new Auer Center for Arts and Culture, the Pembroke Bakery & Café specializes in vegan breads, pastries, bagels, cookies and brownies and also offers a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and salads.
Everything is made from scratch, with an emphasis on local and organic ingredients whenever possible.
“We also have a number of sandwich items for carnivores, including our signature marinated Italian or Creole chicken breast sandwich. Baked marinated tofu in both the Italian and Creole flavors is available as well,” said owner Angie Quinn.
Gluten-free items are available, including brownies, cookies, cupcakes and breads.
Specialty cakes for birthdays and other special occasions can be ordered with 24 hours’ notice.
Pembroke Bakery & Café welcomes special requests and substitutions for those with allergies.
The Pembroke Bakery & Café hours of operation will be 8am-8pm Monday through Friday, 8:30am-6pm on Saturday, and 12-5pm on Sunday.
