Customers will also have the opportunity to donate to the Fallen Hero Fund.

The Vanilla Bean will also be offering free lemonade and coffee, no purchase necessary.

The FWFD/FWPD Fallen Hero Fund is a fund dedicated to Police and Fire personnel who fall or are severely injured in the line of duty. This fund is used to insure those left behind or those who are tending to the needs of their injured loved one are not left with the troublesome burden that daily routines sometimes bare. This fund will go directly to help cover costs associated with security, care and maintenance of homes, the cost of childcare, or other needs that may be encountered with the loss of a Hero. This fund is exclusive to Police and Fire personnel of Fort Wayne and is intended to cover the immediate needs until benefits are received.
