FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Cherise Dixie joined joined Drew Blair and Nicholas Ferreri on First News Sunday to discuss the 26th annual Regional Neighborhood Network Conference (RNNC).

The RNNC was founded as an alternative to the expensive national neighborhood conferences. The conference will discuss things like crime prevention, neighborhood beautification, youth engagement, revitalization and more.

Dixie said the Dayton and Peoria Police Departments will be coming to talk about safety tips and fighting violent crime in the community.

You can register online until Sunday or register at the door on Thursday.

The event will be held at the Grand Wayne Center and the entry fee is $125.
