FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The debate can be seen live on WANE-TV at 7pm or you can watch a live stream here on wane.com

The Mike Downs Center for Indiana Politics at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is partnering with WANE TV to sponsor and host a televised Fort Wayne Mayoral Candidate's Debate, Tuesday, November 1, at 7 p.m. in the Auer Auditorium at the Rhinehart Music Center. The debate is free and open to the public.

Incumbent Democrat Mayor Tom Henry, Republican Paula Hughes, and Independent Haley Ahrendt face questions from moderators Heather Herron and Mark Mellinger of NewsChannel 15, as well as from each other. Ted Linn, news director at NewsChannel 15 said, "...the hour-long debate will conclude with a 'lightning round' in which Heather and Mark will pepper the candidates with questions with no mandate to be even. We will try to cover other issues in this portion and it will move fast and in no particular order. The candidates will be allowed 30-second answers."

Andy Downs says no tickets are required for this debate. The doors to the Auer Performance Hall will be closed at 6:45 and no one will be admitted after that.

You can also see the debate streamed live on wane.com.
