FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Beginning in the fall, Indiana law requires that all students in 6th through 12th grade be vaccinated against the following diseases:
Students must be vaccinated against all three by the first day of the 2010-11 school year or they may be excluded from school. This affects students in 6-12 grade only. Super Shot, Inc. a unique local nonprofit organization is able to provide these vaccinations in their 10 clinics throughout Allen County. Super Shot asks for $8 per vaccination, and accepts Medicaid. However, no one will be turned away if they are unable to pay.
For more information about the new requirements call Super Shot, Inc at 424-SHOT (7468) or visit their website .
Complete clinic locations and regular hours of operation are available in English, Spanish and Burmese.
