FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Job Board has been in effect for about one year on the Fort Wayne Urban League website. It covers jobs in Fort Wayne, New Haven and surrounding areas. The Urban League will work with job candidates to discuss career goals and assess and build skills. Agent Recruiter for State Farm, Denise Dowell has seen a return on investment as an employer. She says, "I'm finding that folks from the Job Board are involved in the community." She also appreciates the screening process. "Greg Walker" with the Urban League Job Board "understands what I am looking for in a candidate."
The service is subscription based for employers, but is free for job seekers. Each must register to start the process. To preview the current job postings, just click on our link to the Job Board .
