FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - It could be an illness, loss of housing, post partum depression or domestic violence.  Providers "offer room in their days, homes, and hearts" for children in Allen County.

Daybreak operates under SCAN Fort Wayne which provides training for providers.  Each Daybreak caregiver receives licensure as a foster parent, has flexibility on accepting a child or children, and is also paid.

There is a great need for additional Daybreak providers.   If you wish to help, call Pat at SCAN at 260-421-5000 extension 2229.  More detail can also be found on the SCAN website

If you are a parent that needs short term emergency care for your child or children, call 260-421-5004.
