Kelly Greene

Originally from Fort Wayne, Kelly Greene joined WANE-TV in September of 2008.  After four years at WANE's sister station, WLFI in Lafayette, she is now the Weekend Meteorologist on NewsChannel 15.

"I learned so much in Lafayette" said Kelly.  "I am now ready for my next venture.   I want to continue to grow as a forecaster and as a broadcaster."

Born and raised here in Fort Wayne, Kelly graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences degree in Telecommunications.  She completed the Broadcast Meteorology Program through Mississippi State University and holds National Weather Association's Seal of Approval. 

Kelly enjoys all of the seasons of Indiana. "I used to be so afraid of thunderstorms when I was little.  I knew I wanted to learn more about storms and understand what created them."
 
Kelly is very active in her service sorority, Epsilon Sigma Alpha, which includes fundraising for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Camp Riley and Indiana Easter Seals.

Kelly lives with her husband Paul, their 2 cats Riley and Harry.  Kelly enjoys traveling, hiking, fitness, and snow skiing.
