Jonathan Conder

Jonathan Conder is WANE's Chief Meteorologist. He brings to WANE a wealth of weather experience and expertise.

Jonathan graduated from St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. While there he won the College of Science and Engineering Undergraduate Research Award for his research in Doppler Radar technology.

His most significant experience comes from his five years at the Mecca of weather, Oklahoma City, OK. As weekend meteorologist at KFOR, Jonathan encountered the gamut of Oklahoma’s intense storm spectrum from tornadoes and tropical storms to blizzards. Besides his passion for covering severe weather from the weather wall, Jonathan also loves to storm chase.

An avid outdoors person, Jonathan loves to run marathons, fish, hike, water ski, snow ski, snowmobile, etc. He’s excited to enjoy some of the lake life around these parts. Jonathan, his wife and their lab Daly live in Fort Wayne and are excited to be part of the community.
